Hello friends, This is Jerry here. For those of you who don’t know, my little brother Scotty was diagnosed in Aug 2011 with a very serious stage 2 brain cancer called Oligoastrocytoma.
Scott is 29 years old and lives in Gilbert AZ with his wife, Emily and 2 boys Logan (4) and Gavin (2).

Hang in there! My daughter is 28 and she has been going through difficulties with cancer also. Her young age has been a big help in getting through it all. I’m sure that your youth will also help you!. On February 15, 2010 she was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. It showed up as a tumor that wrapped around her spine and was paralyzing her. There was also a rare chromosome abnormality. She was advised to immediately have a bone marrow transplant. She went through several months of chemo and then days of full body radiation to knock out her immune system in preparation for the transplant. The transplant had some problems and then there was another year of chemo. Her immune system has not fully recovered, but she has come a long way and the cancer is in remission.
We had some extremely dark days, but her youth, her wonderful attitude and all the great support from family and friends helped us all pull through. I can see from your pictures that you are young and also have a remarkable attitude, a wonderful wife and sons and a great brother and extended family and friends. When things get tough, just rest easily and be assured that all of these things will pull you through.
We know how difficult this is, but you will come through it. Our prayers and thoughts are with you!

I’m picking up on the wrestling background from some of the posts and from some of Jerry’s group phone calls. The Lord Jesus got my attention back when I was a senior in high school as a varsity wrestler in Virginia. And then later while wrestling at Michigan State we closed the deal and now He is King of my life. There are so many spiritual analagies that apply with wrestling, The one-on-one aspect, no time outs, but the one I like is that you can be loosing a match and still stick the guy. It ain’t over ’till it’s over! My God can overrule anything! But, He never seems to waste an opportunity to increase out maturity level. He does it the hard way sometimes. But, I think it is so we don’t have to learn it a second time. I suspect the Master is taking you to a new level of proximity with Him. Keep your focus on that relationship is my encouragement to you. The Living God has no spoiled children. The suffering he chooses for us in not capricous or cavilier. I believe He has you in a safe place. Just like in a wrestling match, there is always something to learn from it. Learn from this conflict and know that I think about you often and pray for you as I am led.

I’m sorry to hear about Scotty’s battle and he is very blessed to have a brother like you supporting and getting in the fight with him. I lost my Dad in ’99 to cancer and I’ve tried to help along the way whenever given the opportunity. Cancer is Fungus, they look the same under a scope and act the same. Avoid all sugars and white flour products as it feeds on these foods. I’m not a Dr but if it was me or my brother I’d suggest asking for them to give him anti-fungals vs chemo etc. Nystatin is one. There are several all natural ones as well such as Caprylic Acid, Olive Leaf Extract etc. The book Ph Miracle is excellent as well as visiting these websites http://www.cancerisafungus.com and http://www.knowthecause.com Some have recommended using a blend of maple syrup with baking soda (cancer/fungus cells love the syrup and the baking soda then kills them). Being alkaline is something we all need to do a better job at for our health, green drinks are beneficial. I just joined the Back Flip Program and so I know that you don’t know much about me. But I am what many would consider a Health and Nutrition Nut. I spend many (way too many) hours online every week reading up on the latest developments in nutrition, health, and alternative/complementary medicine. I tell you this because I want you to know that the following comments are not just wild ideas out of the sky. They are based on the latest medical research.
First and foremost let me emphatically state that you and Scotty must take control of his treatment. Just because one of his doctors recommends something, don’t automatically do it. Make the doctor fully explain what it is, why he is doing it, how much good it can reasonably be expected to do, and what harm can reasonably be expected from it.
First thing I would recommend is that you go to the Life Extension Foundation web site at http://www.lef.org Click the “Health” tab, then click All Health Topics, then under “Cancer” read at least the articles on Brain Cancer, Cancer Adjuvant Therapy, Cancer Treatment: The Critical Factors, and Complementary Alternative Cancer. Under the “Cancer Adjuvant Therapy” section be sure to read about the benefits of Curcumin, Modified Citrus Pectin, and Vitamins C and D.
The Life Extension Foundation is a wealth of information. I would recommend joining it, as then you can talk to one of their health advisors who will guide you as to best supplements and therapies for Scotty. They will also work hand-in-hand with Scotty’s current doctors.
One of the things that you will learn on the LEF web site is that one of the known causes of brain cancers is radiation. That is why I highly recommend that Scotty not have any further radiation treatments. The chances of any additional treatments doing any good is very remote, and the chances of them doing considerable harm is quite high.
Jerry, the last foreclosure house I bought, I bought from a guy in his 30′s who was dying of brain cancer. He died 8 days after I bought the house. At his funereal his father told me that the worst part of seeing his son die, was finding out that he did not die from the brain cancer. He died from all the radiation that had been given to him!
At an absolute minimum Scotty should be taking a high dose multi vitamin and well as curcumin, modified citrus pectin, and huge doses of Vitamin C and D.
In regards to Vitamins D, I also suggest that you check out http://www.vitaminDCouncil.org This web site is by Dr. John Cannell, who is one of the world’s most knowledgeable doctor about Vitamin D. There click on Health Conditions, then Cancer, and then read at least the Intro and the section on Brain Cancer.
If Scotty isn’t taking high doses of Vitamin D (as Vitamin D3) I would highly recommend that he take at least 20,000 IU’s per day until his blood level get up over 100 ng/ml.
I also highly recommend that you go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hCrsn8ziGWU You can watch the 21 minute video that automatically comes on, but also watch the full video about Dr. Burzynski, which you can get to from the tab at the right that says “Dr Burzynski, movie FULL VERSION.
Here you will learn about Dr Burzynski, who is probably about 20 years ahead of the established medical/cancer treatments in the world. I don’t know if Scotty can get into his Treatment Facility, but if it was me I’d make every effort in the world to do so.
And I have to mention the following. Even if you followed all my recommendations and Scotty was completely healed, if the FDA found out about it they would arrest me and put me in jail for practicing medicine without a license. Therefore I am required to say the following. All my previous comments were just a medical layman’s opinions and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. You are hereby advised to seek the services of a qualified medical professional to treat your brothers cancer.

I recently purchased a book called “How to Outsmart Your Cancer”. It offers alternative treatments with various track records of success. It is well written and researched. Most of them can be used along with conventional treatment. I will be praying for your brother. God still does miracles!

First have them check his PH LEVEL in his body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if the PH level is too 1 sided then the cancer will grow.

2nd My mother had throat cancer.
I heard about and have been taking a product.
this is called TURMERIC I originally got the capsules (450 milligrams) at wall mart and have been taking 1 pill a day for over 2 1/2 years. I used to get sick all the time.
